Registration is now open for the 2023 B.C. Lung Cancer Patient Summit! This year’s event is being held at the Nikkei Centre in Burnaby on November 23rd, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. There will also be an option to attend remotely. Members of our little group have been involved with this event every step of the way. We have been fortunate to work with the gracious event host, Lung Cancer Canada, in helping to develop the programme of speakers (and some of us will also be appearing on a patient panel!). We are thrilled to have experts like Dr. Cheryl Ho and Dr. Renelle Myers from BC Cancer, who will be discussing the latest in treatments and research on air pollution and lung cancer risks, respectively.
While the event is geared towards patients, caregivers and other interested parties are also welcome to attend. It’s part of our efforts to change the conversation on lung cancer, fight stigma, raise awareness and improve outcomes for lung cancer patients across the province!
